13 Days of January | Day 3: Half and Half

Salut les filles! Voici ma manucure "Half and Half" pour le 2ème jour du 13 Days of January Nail Art Challenge.

Hi guys! Here is my "13 Days of January" nails of the day =)

Pour ce nail art, j'ai tout d'abord appliqué 2 couches de China Glaze For Audrey, un de mes vernis préférés (oui quand tu sais pas trop quoi faire, autant utiliser une valeur sure ^^). Ensuite, j'ai recouvert la moitié de chaque ongle de 2 couches de OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay. 

For this nail art, I first used 2 coats of China Glaze For Audrey as my base color. Then, on one half of the nail, I applied 2 coats of OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay. 

Au départ, je voulais délimiter les couleurs avec du striping tape. Mais vu comment je me galère à chaque fois à le placer là où je veux, j'ai opté pour une solution plus rapide. Armée d'un dotting tool, j'ai fait de gros pois avec For Audrey le long de ma séparation irrégulière sur la partie bleu foncé. Et inversement des pois avec Keeping Suzi at Bay sur la partie "bleu Tiffany". Les pois entourant ma délimitation approximative on y voit presque que du feu ^^ 

With a dotting tool, I added some dots along the color separation. Dots with For Audrey on the royal blue half, and dots with Keeping Suzi at Bay on the Tiffany blue half. 

Je poste cette manucure un peu tardivement, mais vu les événements du jour je n'étais pas trop d'humeur... 

This is a late post (it's almost tomorrow here), but with what happened in Paris I was not really in the mood for nail art :(
