Superficially Colorful Lacquer || Giving Thanks Collection

Salut les nailistas ! :) Aujourd'hui, je vous propose de découvrir la jolie collection "Giving Thanks" de Superficially Colorful Lacquer.

Hello dear readers! :) Today, I have the Giving Thanks collection by Superficially Colorful Lacquer to show you. 

Cette collection s'inspire de Thanksgiving, mais je pense que vous l'aviez déjà compris en voyant le nom de la collex, les couleurs choisies et peut-être la dinde aussi... lol! Cette collection est constituée de 7 vernis reprenant donc les couleurs de Thanksgiving, le tout avec un fini holographique plus ou moins intense.

This pretty collection is inspired by Thanksgiving, but I guess you already gathered that from the name of the collex, the colors, and maybe the turkey... lol! This collection consists of 7 polishes in warm holiday colors, with scattered holographic finish.

Avant de vous montrer les swatches, je voulais vous préciser que j'avais photographié ces vernis sans top coat puis avec , mais une fois sur l'ordi je me suis rendue compte qu'on ne voyait aucune différence. Du coup, pour ne pas vous embêter avec pleins de photos, qui au final se ressemblent, j'ai juste choisi les plus jolies et je vous sert donc un petit mix. Toutes les photos ont été prises sous lumière du jour artificielle.

Before showing you the swatches, I'd like to tell you that I photographed the polishes without and with top coat, but my camera doesn't show the difference... Thus, there was no point in showing you several photos that look all the same. So I just chose the best ones and mixed them. I used an artificial day light for all the pics.

And now, let's take a closer look at these nail polishes, shall we?!

Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce est un rouge-cranberry qui prend un aspect satiné lorsqu'il est sec. Une seule couche suffirait presque, mais j'ai préféré être prudente et j'en ai posé 2.

Cranberry Sauce is described by its maker (the lovely Jin Jit) as "a cranberry red that dries to a satin look". It's almost a one coater but I used 2 coats for these photos.

New World

New World est un orange, presque corail, au fini holographique. J'ai posé 2 couches pour ces photos.

New World is "a very orange-y red with rather strong holographic finish". Under an artificial day light, it looks like a warm coral. I used 2 coats for these photos.

Give Thanks

Give Thanks est un nude satiné et légèrement holographique. J'ai posé 2 couches mais dès la première j'avais déjà une bonne couvrance, ce qui assez rare avec ce genre de couleur.

Give Thanks is "a nude-cream color with subtle holographic finish and satin look when dry". I used 2 coats for these photos, but I had a pretty great coverage with the first one, that's pretty rare for a light color like this.

Cornucopia

Cornucopia est un doré holographique. J'ai posé 2 couches pour ces photos mais une seule pourrait suffire.

Cornucopia is "a warm gold holographic polish". I used 2 coats for these photos, but you could get away with one if you're careful.

Food Coma

Food Coma est le préféré de Jin Jit, sa créatrice, et c'est également le mien ! Il s'agit d'un chocolat avec des shimmers rouges, dorées et un fini holographique. Malheureusement, mon appareil n'a pas su capturer les jolies shimmers qui sont pourtant visibles dans la réalité. J'ai posé 2 couches mais lui aussi c'est presque un "one coater".

Food Coma is Jin Jit's personal favorite and it's mine too :P It's "a dark chocolate color with red, gold and holographic shimmer finish". Sorry, I couldn't capture the red and gold shimmer, boo! I used 2 coats of Food Coma for these photos but it's almost a one coater too.

Pass The Beans

Pass The Beans est un vert foncé rempli de shimmer dorées et avec un fini holographique. Celui-ci est un peu plus "liquide" que les autres et donc les 2 couches sont vraiment nécessaires. Le fini est glossy donc je n'ai que des photos sans top coat.

Pass The Beans is "a dark rich green with gold and holographic shimmer". The formula is less thick than the others but I had no issue with the application. I used 2 coats for these photos. It has a glossy finish so I only took pics without topcoat.

Peas & Thanks

Peas & Thanks est un vert clair aux reflets dorés et au fini légèrement holographique. Quand je vois ce vernis je ne peux pas m'empêcher de penser à la Fée Clochette et sa jolie robe qui est du même vert. J'ai posé 2 couches pour ces photos.

Peas & Thanks is "a light green with a golden sheen and subtle holographic finish". The color actually reminds of Tinkerbell's dress :P I used 2 coats for these photos.

Je n'ai eu aucun problème avec ces vernis. Ils ont tous une bonne couvrance en deux couches et la plupart sont pratiquement des "one coaters". Leur séchage est très rapide.

I had no issue with these nail polishes. They all have a great coverage with two coats, and most of them are almost one coaters. They also dries pretty fast.

Les teintes sont toutes très jolies. Mes préférées sont Food Coma, Cranberry Sauce et Pass The Beans. Et vous, quelles sont les vôtres ?
