"I'm A Nail Art Addict" devient "The Nail Art Bar" !

Salut les nailistas ! Hello dear nalistas!

Cela fait un moment que je n'avais pas écrit sur ce blog, des années même... et j'ai bien peur que plus personne ne soit au rendez-vous désormais. Pour tout vous dire, je n'avais pas juste abandonné le blog, j'avais complètement lâché le nail art tout simplement :'( Depuis peu, j'essaye de trouver le temps de refaire un peu mes ongles, et vraiment ça fait du bien !!! 

It's been a while since I've written on this blog, ever years... and I'm afraid that no one remember anymore. To tell you the truth, I hadn't just given up on the blog, I had quite simply given up on nail art :'( Recently, I've been trying to find the time to redo my nails a bit, and it feels really good!!!

Du coup, comme j'avais fait une petite manucure qui me plaisait beaucoup, je me suis dit "Allez je vais la poster sur mon Instagram nail art". Premier constat, ma dernière publication datait du 30 Avril 2016, aïe ! Je regarde la date du jour : 30 Avril 2021... Exactement 5 ans pile entre les deux !! Coïncidence ?? Deuxième chose, le nom de ma page ne me correspondait plus "I'm a Nail Art Addict!" pour la fille qui a presque pas mis une couche de vernis en 5 ans, c'était pas trop ça... Je suis donc partie à la recherche d'un nouveau nom.

So, as I had done a little manicure that I really liked, I said to myself "Let's post this nail art on Instagramt". First observation, my last publication was on April 30, 2016, ouch! I'm looking at the date: April 30, 2021... Exactly 5 years ago!!! Coincidence?? Then, I saw the name of my page, and well it no longer corresponded to me "I'm a Nail Art Addict!" for the girl who has hardly put on a coat of nail polish in 5 years, yep not really me anyore... So I started to think for a new name.

Je n'ai jamais eu vraiment beaucoup d'imagination, dans n'importe quel domaine (même pour le nail art, je m'inspire souvent de ce que j'ai pu voir ailleurs, oups!) donc pour trouver un nom, pas facile ! Déjà la première fois c'était une galère et le nom trouvé ne me plaisait même pas !!! Alors là, je voulais quelque chose de mieux... j'ai eu quelques idées qui me sont venues mais, comme la première fois, quand je cherchais sur le net, ils étaient déjà utilisés par d'autres blogueuses ou enseignes. Et puis, j'ai pensé aux choses que j'aime en dehors du nail art et mon cerveau à trouver : "The Nail Art Bar". Non non je ne suis pas alcoolique, mdr.

I've never really had a lot of imagination, in any field (even for nail art, I'm often inspired by what I've seen on the web, oops!)... so find a name, that's not easy for me! The first time, it was already a tough task and I didn't even like the name I found, lol!!! So this time, I wanted something better... I had a few ideas that came to me but when I was looking on the net, like the first time, they were already used by other bloggers or brands. And then I thought of the things I love outside of nail art and my brain found: "The Nail Art Bar". No no I'm not an alcoholic, lol.

Quand j'ai commencé ce blog, j'avais très peu de vie sociale, j'avais vraiment une routine Métro Voiture - Boulot - Dodo, où je casais le nail art partout pour combler tout le temps que je passais seule. Puis en 2016, j'ai quitté le nid douillé de mes parents pour prendre mon envol dans un petit appart plus proche du boulot. Gérer l'appart ça me laissait déjà moins de temps pour le nail art. Puis j'ai enfin commencé à avoir une vie sociale lol. J'ai rencontré pas mal de monde, je sortais très souvent avec des amis, les boîtes, les bars etc, j'ai découvert les cocktails, Oh My God les cocktails (avec ou sans alcool, yummy) !!! :P Bref, vous commencez à voir pourquoi The Nail Art Bar, non ?!

When I started this blog, I had very little social life, I had a eat-sleep-work-repeat routine and all the blank space were filled with nail art. Then in 2016, I left my parents' cozy nest to move in a small apartment closer to work. Managing the apartment already left me less time for nail art. Then I finally made new friends, finally had a social life lol. And then I discovered cocktails, Oh My God cocktails (with or without alcohol, yummy)!!! :P Anyway, you're starting to see why The Nail Art Bar, right?!

Une fois le nouveau nom trouvé, je me suis dit qu'il fallait changer le nom partout, renommer le blog surtout... Et là quand j'ai vu l'état du blog... Plus rien ne fonctionnait, tous les widgets étaient expirés, ça ne ressemblait plus à rien !!! Du coup, j'avais du boulot pour remettre tout ça d'aplomb...

Once the new name was found, I had to change the name everywhere, especially rename the blog... And then, I saw the state the blog was in... Nothing was working, all the widgets had expired, it as a mess!!! 

Quand j'ai eu terminé le principal, je me suis attaquée aux photos de la manucure qui avait déclenché cette folie de reprendre mon compte nail art et j'ai enfin posté 2 photos sur Insta, avec pour la première fois mon nouveau nom. Je vous fais un article sur le blog concernant ce nail art juste après! :)

When I finished the main things to do, I started to work on the photos of the manicure that had started this madness and I finally posted 2 photos on Insta, with (for the first time) my new name. I'll share with you this nail art on the blog right after this monologue! :)

Je ne posterai pas aussi souvent que j'en avais l'habitude par le passé, mais je recommence doucement !
I won't be posting as often as I used to do in the past, but I'm slowly starting again!
